Dive the Homestead Crater
 |
The warm, azure-blue waters of the Homestead Crater are great for
snorkeling, scuba, or just sitting back and soaking. For more than a century, the
55-foot high rock dome has been a distinctive landmark, with warm spring waters flowing to
a resort where weary miners could soak their aches and pains. A few years ago, Dr.
Jerry Simmons constructed a 110-foot tunnel to provide access to the hot pot's inner
depths. Add a small scuba shop and -- wow! -- it's Utah's "hottest" dive site. |
